Hemlock was born in the late Summer of 1992. Conceived by Laconist and Desecrator, they decided to rekindle the torch of arrogance, hostility and their relentless hatred of Christianity. By Utilizing music as a tool of war, Hemlock created Satanic jihad hymns to stir the air, to destroy Heavenly Tranquility, and to once again unleash the purest of Evil in time before time: The Ancient Ones. In that Autumn of '92, Hemlock was joined by His Eminence. He was one of the few individuals responsible for the birth of the black/death metal scene in New York City. Hailing from cult act Porphuria, His Eminence focused his doctrine spreading drum attack to destroy worthless human garbage. Later that year, Hemlock recorded a two song demo. The recording line-up then was Laconist: Guitar, Desecrator: Vocals, Bass and His Eminence: Drums. They rehearsed on and off for 3 years searching for suitable War brothers to spread Evil.
Until they were joined by Balth on bass, who lead Desecrator to cultivate his hateful words of poison. With a track record of battles destroying anything that respresented Light, Goodness and Love, Balth joined the front lines of Armageddon as the 4th commander of Hemlock. Weeks later, Azalin was the last piece of the Hellish puzzle. Disciplined in the Occult, it took no time for him to prove his loyalty to the dark side. Hemlock was now ready to battle, to crush the race of God. In June of 1996 Hemlock finally recorded a six song mini album, which sparked interest from Head Not Found and was released thru that label.
One year later, Hemlock then recorded their official full length LP, entitled "Funeral Mask" which was to be their last for Head Not Found. Due to the lack of promotion/professionalism of Head Not Found, Hemlock decided to team up with long time supporter/hater of all that is human, Thorns of the mighty Full Moon Productions. During negotiations, Laconist departed from the fold in searchof sanity...... Hemlock will remain as a four piece and have begun writing/rehearsing for the upcoming warfare entitled "Lust for Fire".

The war is not over. Since their debut warfare "Crush The Race Of God" was unleashed in late '96, Hemlock has been slaughtering the live circuit playing with acts like Sigh, Deceased, Exodus, Immolation, Usurper, just to name a few... as well as finding new ways to get banned from promoters in town!! If you thought the debut CD was ugly, their shows were equivalent to tanks running over a monastery full of monks in heat!! Hemlock then took a breather long enough to enter the studio to record a split mcd with fellow drunk crossover freaks Black Army Jacket to prove that they were not limited in their approach to destroying the Holy!! Hemlock is the ONLY Black Metal band in NYC to attract all kinds of total maniacs!! Now after a year of extensive writing, Hemlock has completeed their 3rd black thrashing opus entitled "Funeral Mask". Recorded at the legendary Smoke, Grind and Sleep 2 (Known for their worth with Brutal Truth, Malformed, Earthborn and Uncreated...) The album features 9 songs of punishing evil METAL! They have also recorded a brilliant cover of Kreator's "Awakening of the Gods" for an upcoming FULL MOON compilation. BE WARNED!!!!! IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SWEET AND NICE KEYBOARD METAL...
